Tabor Heights was founded by three Portland Evangelical United Brethren congregations in the 1960's which became United Methodist when the two denominations joined in 1968. We express our faith in reaching out to people of need in our own fellowship, our community, and our world. We have adopted the motto-Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors- to show our commitment to helping others, our willingness to witness to our faith and to hear the witness of those whose experience has been different, and to welcome into our fellowship all who earnestly and sincerely wish to lead a more full life.
We are one in Christ. We welcome all persons from any or no faith backgrounds, who seek to grow in love with God and embrace our mission to live as Christ's body in the world today.
Bible classes begin at 9:30am and Worship at 11am every Sunday.
